Kingston University is a university located in Southwest London, UK. It was founded in 1899 as Kingston Technical Institute and gained university status in 1992. The university has two campuses, in Kingston and Roehampton.
The Kingston University International Scholarships are offered to encourage academic excellence, increase the diversity of student population and to develop relationships.
The University offers awards to international students totalling £200,000 every year
Benefits
- Partial scholarship worth £4,000 per year of study, the outstanding amount of fees and living expenses will be paid by the student.

- The university offers a diverse range of courses in different departments that are all eligible for the scholarships.
Course Level
- The scholarships are awarded to students in Undergraduate (Bachelor’s) and Postgraduate degree programmes.
Eligibility
To apply,
- You must be an international student.
- You must have a course offer at Kingston for 2016/2017 programme entry.
- You must not be currently registered for an undergraduate or postgraduate course at Kingston University.
Selection Criteria
The scholarships are awarded based on academic merit.
Application
You are required to submit a separate online application form for this scholarship before due dates usually through UCAS or the UK Clearing system.
Some course applications are not made through UCAS. These are;
- Art Foundation courses – apply directly to Kingston University
- A small number of work-based courses – visit the course pages listed below for more details on applying for the respective course.

Deadlines
- International scholarship applications for September 2016 will close on 31st May 2016.
- The deadline for applications through UCAS for September 2016 entry is 30th June 2016.
- The deadline for Art Foundation courses is the end of January.
